Welcome to Copped. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Copped mobile application, getcopped.com, and any related websites, features, services and marketplace functionality provided by Slow Fashion for Secondhand Clothing Trading LLC, operating under the brand name Copped (“Copped”, “we”, “us” or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”).
Please read these Terms carefully before using Copped. By creating an account, accessing or using Copped, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the policies referenced in them.
1. ABOUT COPPED
Copped (“Copped”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a peer-to-peer fashion marketplace operated from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Copped allows users to discover, list, buy and sell eligible fashion, beauty and related items. Copped also facilitates certain services connected to transactions, including payment processing, courier pickup and delivery, authentication, customer support and dispute handling.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Copped does not own or sell the items listed by users. The sale of an item is between the buyer and the seller.
Copped may use third-party service providers to provide payment, delivery, authentication, hosting, analytics, communications and other services.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

Together, these documents form the rules governing your use of Copped.
If you do not agree to them, you must not use Copped.
3. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNTS
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, buy, sell or otherwise transact on Copped.
3.2 Account Information
You must provide accurate, complete and current information when creating and using your account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.
You must notify Copped promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without your authorization.
3.3 One Account Per User
Unless Copped gives you permission otherwise, you may maintain only one Copped account.
You may not create another account to avoid a restriction, suspension or permanent ban.
If your account was compromised or unlawfully taken over, Copped may permit you to create a replacement account.
3.4 Verification
Copped may ask you to verify information at registration or at any point while using the platform.
This may include verification of your:
-
email address;
-
phone number;
-
identity;
-
payment or payout information;
-
address; or
-
other information reasonably required to protect users, prevent fraud or comply with applicable law.
We may request identification documents or other supporting information where reasonably necessary.
Failure to complete required verification may result in certain features being restricted, payouts being temporarily held, or your account being suspended.
4. HOW COPPED WORKS
Copped provides a marketplace through which users can buy and sell eligible items.
The underlying sale of an item is between the buyer and seller. Copped facilitates the transaction and may provide related services including payment processing, logistics, inspection, authentication, moderation and dispute handling.
Copped does not guarantee that:
-
every listing will result in a sale;
-
every listed item will remain available;
-
every buyer or seller will complete a transaction;
-
every item will meet a user's personal expectations; or
-
an item is authentic unless it has been authenticated through an applicable Copped authentication service.
However, buyers and sellers remain protected by the rights expressly provided under these Terms, our applicable policies and applicable law.
5. BUYING ON COPPED
When purchasing through Copped, you agree to provide accurate payment and delivery information and to comply with our Buying on Copped, Shipping & Delivery, and Returns, Refunds & Inspection policies.
Available payment methods may include:
-
Cash on Delivery;
-
Cliq on delivery; and
-
supported online payment methods displayed at checkout.
Available payment methods may change from time to time.
Where an order contains items from different sellers, each seller's items may be treated as a separate transaction and may require separate pickup, delivery and delivery fees.
Delivery charges and other applicable fees will be displayed before you place your order.
Cancelling an order
A buyer may request to cancel an order before the item has been collected from the seller by Copped's courier.
Once the courier has collected the item from the seller, the buyer may no longer cancel the order simply because they changed their mind.
Copped may cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where there is suspected fraud, a payment issue, a prohibited item, an authentication issue, seller non-performance, an inability to complete delivery or another violation of these Terms.
Detailed buying, cancellation, inspection and refund rules are set out in our Buying on Copped and Returns, Refunds & Inspection Policy.
6. SELLING ON COPPED
You may only list an item if you own it or otherwise have the legal right to sell it.
By listing an item, you confirm that:
-
the item exists and is available for sale;
-
the listing accurately represents the actual item;
-
the photos show the actual item being sold;
-
the information you provide is truthful and complete;
-
the condition and any known defects are disclosed;
-
the item complies with Copped's Catalogue Rules; and
-
selling the item does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
You must keep your listings current. If an item is sold, lost, damaged or otherwise becomes unavailable, you must remove or update the listing promptly.
You must not knowingly allow a buyer to place an order for an item you can no longer provide.
After an item sells
You must prepare the correct item for collection and make it available to Copped's approved courier.
Unless Copped expressly permits otherwise, all delivery connected with a Copped transaction must take place through Copped's approved delivery service.
Seller cancellation
A seller may request cancellation before courier collection.
Repeated cancellations, failure to prepare sold items, failed pickups or other repeated failures to fulfil orders may result in restrictions on selling privileges or the account.
Once the courier has collected an item, a seller may not cancel the transaction simply because they changed their mind.
Further requirements are contained in Selling on Copped.
7. FEES
Copped currently charges sellers a platform fee equal to 15% of the item's final selling price for a completed sale.
Any applicable additional charges will be disclosed before the relevant service is used.
These may include, where applicable:
-
delivery or return-delivery charges;
-
authentication fees;
-
cash payout fees;
-
bank or intermediary transfer fees; and
-
other optional service charges.
Copped may change its fees in the future. Any material changes will be communicated before they apply to new transactions.
8. PAYMENTS & SELLER PAYOUTS
All payments for Copped transactions must be made through payment methods approved by Copped.
Users must not use Copped to arrange off-platform payment or delivery.
Seller payout methods may include:
-
Jordanian bank transfer;
-
Cliq;
-
supported wallet transfer; and
-
cash payout through an approved courier.
A 2 JOD service fee currently applies to cash payouts through the courier.
Where a seller chooses a payment method involving third-party bank or intermediary charges, those charges may be deducted from the seller's payout.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring their payout information is accurate.
Copped is not responsible for a payment being delayed or misdirected because a seller provided incorrect payout information, except where Copped itself caused the error.
Payout timing
For completed transactions, seller earnings are generally released within 7 working days after the buyer accepts the item and no unresolved claim, dispute or investigation applies.
Copped may temporarily hold or delay a payout where reasonably necessary to investigate:
-
suspected fraud;
-
a payment dispute or chargeback;
-
an authenticity concern;
-
a buyer claim;
-
an account or identity verification issue;
-
a breach of these Terms; or
-
another legitimate transaction-related issue.
Valid undisputed funds will not be permanently withheld merely because an account has been suspended.
9. AMOUNTS OWED TO COPPED & SET-OFF
If you owe Copped an amount under these Terms or an applicable policy, you authorize Copped, to the extent permitted by law, to deduct or set off that amount against funds otherwise payable to you.
This may include:
-
seller-responsible delivery or return costs;
-
cash payout fees;
-
authentication charges;
-
payment reversals or chargebacks attributable to your transaction;
-
refunds or adjustments resulting from your breach of these Terms; or
-
other valid charges that you have agreed to pay.
Where a deduction is made, Copped will make information about the relevant charge or adjustment available to you.
10. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Copped currently facilitates door-to-door pickup and delivery within Jordan using approved courier partners.
Users must provide accurate pickup and delivery details and reasonably cooperate with courier scheduling.
The detailed rules concerning:
-
pickup;
-
delivery;
-
delivery attempts;
-
delays;
-
failed delivery;
-
refused parcels;
-
lost or damaged parcels;
-
return delivery; and
-
associated costs
are contained in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Where a failed transaction results from the fault or breach of a buyer or seller, Copped may charge that user the reasonable logistics costs resulting from the failure.
Users will not be charged for logistics failures caused solely by Copped or its courier partner, subject to the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
11. UNCLAIMED ITEMS
Where an item must be returned to a seller, Copped or its courier may make up to three reasonable return-delivery attempts using the seller's registered contact and delivery information.
If the item cannot be returned after those attempts, it may be treated as an unclaimed item.
Subject to applicable law, Copped may arrange for an unclaimed item to be stored, donated, recycled, disposed of, liquidated or otherwise handled as reasonably appropriate.
Copped may deduct reasonable additional storage, handling, redelivery or disposal costs attributable to the seller where permitted.
Where reasonably practicable, Copped will attempt to notify the seller before final disposal of an unclaimed item.
12. INSPECTION, RETURNS & REFUNDS
Copped operates an inspection-based model for secondhand marketplace transactions.
Buyers may inspect eligible items when delivered, subject to the procedures in the Returns, Refunds & Inspection Policy.
A buyer may be entitled to reject or receive a remedy for an item that is materially different from the listing, including circumstances such as:
-
the wrong item being delivered;
-
a significant undisclosed defect;
-
the item materially differing from its stated condition;
-
an item represented as authentic being counterfeit; or
-
another material misrepresentation.
A buyer is not ordinarily entitled to a refund merely because:
-
an item does not fit;
-
the buyer changes their mind;
-
the colour or style does not suit them; or
-
the item otherwise does not meet a subjective preference,
except where required by applicable law.
The exact reporting window, inspection procedure, evidence requirements and allocation of delivery costs are governed by the Returns, Refunds & Inspection Policy.
13. BUYER PROTECTION
Certain eligible transactions may be covered by Copped Buyer Protection.
Buyer Protection may provide additional safeguards for qualifying purchases made and completed entirely through Copped.
Transactions involving payment, communication or delivery arranged outside Copped are not eligible for Copped Buyer Protection.
14. AUTHENTICITY & COUNTERFEIT ITEMS
Copped takes the authenticity of branded items seriously.
Sellers must not represent an item as authentic where they know or reasonably should know that it is counterfeit.
Copped may:
-
request additional photographs or documentation;
-
hide a listing pending verification;
-
require authentication for certain items or brands;
-
place a transaction or payout on hold;
-
cancel a transaction;
-
remove a listing; or
-
restrict or suspend an account
where authenticity is reasonably questioned.
Copped may provide optional or required authentication services through independent authentication partners.
Items successfully authenticated may receive a Verified Authentic badge or other authentication indicator.
Items determined to be counterfeit
Where Copped or an authentication partner determines that an item bearing or purporting to bear a protected brand or trademark is counterfeit, Copped may remove the listing and prohibit the item from being relisted.
Repeated or intentional attempts to misrepresent counterfeit items as authentic may result in permanent account suspension and, where appropriate, further action.
An unbranded item that resembles or is inspired by another design is not automatically treated as a counterfeit solely because of similarity. Such items must nevertheless comply with applicable intellectual-property law and Copped's Catalogue Rules.
Further rules are contained in our Item Authenticity Policy.
15. PROHIBITED & RESTRICTED ITEMS
Users may only list items permitted under Copped's Catalogue Rules / Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy.
Copped may prohibit or restrict items based on:
-
applicable law;
-
intellectual-property concerns;
-
health or hygiene;
-
safety;
-
authenticity;
-
marketplace quality;
-
sustainability standards; or
-
other legitimate marketplace considerations.
This may include restrictions applying to certain beauty products, personal-care products, underwear, recalled products, unsafe goods, counterfeit products and particular brands or product categories.
Copped may update its Catalogue Rules as the marketplace evolves.
16. LISTING MODERATION
Copped may review, hide, edit the categorization of, restrict or remove listings that do not comply with these Terms or our Catalogue Rules.
For marketplace organization and search accuracy, Copped may make reasonable non-material adjustments to listing information, including:
-
category;
-
standardized brand naming;
-
searchable attributes;
-
formatting; and
-
removal of irrelevant or prohibited keywords or hashtags.
We may also request:
-
clearer photographs;
-
additional authenticity information;
-
disclosure of defects; or
-
corrections to inaccurate listing information.
We will not change a seller's asking price without authorization, except to correct an obvious technical display error or where otherwise expressly permitted by the seller.
17. PHOTOS & LISTING CONTENT
Photos must accurately represent the actual item offered for sale.
Unless expressly permitted under our Catalogue Rules, users must not use another retailer's, seller's or creator's photographs as substitutes for original photographs of the item.
Listings must accurately disclose known defects and material information that could reasonably affect a buyer's decision.
Additional requirements are contained in the Photo & Listing Guide and Catalogue Rules.
18. COMMUNICATION & OFF-PLATFORM TRANSACTIONS
Copped's messaging features must be used in accordance with our Community Guidelines.
Users must not use Copped to solicit or arrange transactions outside the platform, including by sharing or requesting contact or payment information for that purpose.
Transactions completed outside Copped are at the users' own risk and are not covered by Copped's transaction protections, Buyer Protection, inspection/refund processes or dispute assistance.
19. MESSAGE MODERATION & SAFETY
Copped may use automated systems to identify prohibited content, fraud, attempts to move transactions off-platform, personal contact information and other potential violations.
Where reasonably necessary, authorized personnel may manually review relevant content to investigate reports, enforce our policies, prevent fraud, protect users or comply with legal obligations.
Our collection and processing of message data is further described in our Privacy Policy.
20. USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of the original content you upload to Copped.
By uploading photos, descriptions, reviews, profile information or other content (“User Content”), you grant Copped a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, display, distribute and use that content as reasonably necessary to:
-
operate Copped;
-
display and promote your listings;
-
provide search and recommendations;
-
moderate content and prevent fraud;
-
communicate about Copped;
-
advertise and promote Copped and its marketplace; and
-
maintain legally or operationally necessary records.
This licence generally continues while your content is available through Copped.
Certain copies may be retained afterward where reasonably necessary for backups, completed transactions, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal compliance or marketing material already created or published, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to content you upload.
21. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Copped's trademarks, branding, software, interface, designs and other proprietary materials belong to Copped or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.
Users must respect third-party intellectual-property rights.
Copped may remove content or listings that reasonably appear to infringe copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights.
Intellectual-property concerns may be reported to support@getcopped.com.
22. REVIEWS & MARKETPLACE INTEGRITY
Following eligible completed transactions, buyers and sellers may be able to review one another.
Reviews must be honest, relevant and based on genuine interactions.
Users must not:
-
submit fake reviews;
-
review themselves through another account;
-
exchange or purchase reviews;
-
threaten another user to influence a review;
-
offer compensation for a positive review; or
-
manipulate ratings or marketplace engagement.
Copped may remove reviews or engagement that violates these rules.
23. FRAUD, SECURITY & PLATFORM ABUSE
You must not:
-
engage in fraud or deception;
-
hack or interfere with Copped;
-
scrape Copped without authorization;
-
use unauthorized bots or automated tools;
-
manipulate rankings, engagement or transactions;
-
impersonate another person;
-
misuse promotions;
-
attempt to evade fees;
-
facilitate illegal activity; or
-
circumvent account restrictions.
Copped may use automated and manual systems to detect and investigate suspected abuse.
24. ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS & TERMINATION
Copped may warn, restrict, suspend or permanently terminate an account where a user:
-
materially or repeatedly breaches these Terms;
-
engages in fraud;
-
intentionally sells or misrepresents counterfeit goods;
-
repeatedly fails to fulfil transactions;
-
abuses other users;
-
attempts to circumvent Copped's systems;
-
creates a serious safety or legal risk; or
-
otherwise seriously undermines marketplace integrity.
Where appropriate, Copped may act without prior warning where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or third parties.
Users will ordinarily be informed of the reason for a suspension or termination and may appeal within 14 days by contacting Copped Support.
Copped may delay payouts while investigating legitimate fraud, transaction or legal concerns, but account suspension alone does not automatically forfeit valid undisputed seller earnings.
25. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTS
Copped may offer promotional codes, credits, discounts or other promotional campaigns.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
promotions may have eligibility requirements, expiry dates and exclusions;
-
they cannot be exchanged for cash;
-
they cannot be applied retroactively;
-
they may not be combined;
-
misuse may result in cancellation; and
-
Copped may modify or withdraw promotions that have not already been redeemed in a completed transaction.
Copped-funded promotions will not reduce a seller's agreed payout unless the seller has been informed otherwise.
Where a promotion is funded partly or entirely by a seller, the seller must be informed and agree to participate.
26. TAXES
Users are responsible for determining and meeting any personal tax, reporting or other financial obligations arising from their activities on Copped.
Where Copped is legally required to collect, report, withhold or provide information concerning taxes or transactions, Copped may do so.
27. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Copped works with third parties such as:
-

-
banks and payment networks;
-
courier companies;
-
authentication providers;
-
hosting and infrastructure providers;
-
analytics providers; and
-
communications services.
Copped is not responsible for independent third-party services outside its reasonable control, except to the extent required by applicable law or expressly provided under these Terms.
Use of certain third-party services may also be subject to that provider's terms.
28. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep Copped available and functioning reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may temporarily restrict or suspend features for:
-

-
other operational reasons.
We may add, modify or discontinue features as Copped develops.

These may include security alerts, transaction updates, delivery information, payout notifications, policy notices and other communications necessary to provide the Service.
Marketing communications will be handled separately in accordance with your preferences and applicable law.
30. DISPUTES
Users should first attempt to resolve transaction-related issues through Copped's available support and dispute processes.
Copped may review relevant:
-
listing information;
-
photographs;
-
transaction records;
-
delivery records;
-
communications;
-
authentication evidence; and

other reasonably relevant information
when deciding a marketplace dispute.
Copped may make a determination under its marketplace policies, but nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
31. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Copped will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Copped's role as marketplace facilitator does not remove any obligations expressly undertaken by Copped under these Terms or applicable law.
32. FORCE MAJEURE
Copped will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control, including severe weather, natural disasters, telecommunications failures, widespread service outages, government actions, civil disturbances, courier disruptions or other comparable events.
Where possible, Copped will take reasonable steps to minimize the impact on affected transactions.
33. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Where a change materially affects users' rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the app, email or another appropriate method.
The updated Terms will apply from the effective date stated in the notice.
34. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
